Tabitha Lynn Newton

Ms. Tabitha Lynn Newton, age 36, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday January 29th, 2026. Tabitha was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 19, 1989. Tabitha enjoyed many different hobbies. Some of these included crafting, scrapbooking, making colleges and photography. She loved spending time and making memories with her friends and family.

Among those that preceded her in death are her stepmother, Trish Roll; grandparents, Jasper and Betty Roll; great grandmother, Mary Jane; and cousins, Curtis Compton, James Newton, Amanda Adams and Teresa Compton.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jeremy Goodwin, Cheyanne Goodwin, Kobe Goodwin, Thomas Goodwin, Kingston Goodwin and Leilani Goodwin; parents, Phillip Roll and Jennifer Shelton; significant other, Andrew (Paige) Goodwin; step-parents, Dale and Angel Goodwin siblings, Bradley Newton, Derrick Shelton (Lauren) and Max Roll; grandparents, Tom and Sandy Newton; best friend, Krystal Pound; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, February 6, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home-Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 East at 123 Winning Colors Drive) with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bardstown, Kentucky. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 2pm- 8pm and Friday from 9am until time of service at the funeral home.
