Ms. Teresa June George, age 59 of Hillview, Ky returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. She was born in Louisville, Ky on July 15, 1967. Teresa was a loving daughter, mother, and grandma to her family. She enjoyed drawing and painting. Teresa also loved gardening. She could easily get lost in a garden planting flowers or just pulling weeds. She loved playing basketball; Teresa played at North Bullitt High School where she still holds many records. Her best memories were those she created with her friends and family. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Teresa is preceded in death by her children, Samantha George and Timothy Blackaby; and her mother, Jo Evinger. She is survived by her children, Brittany Weird, Maria George and Brett Perez (Madison); grandchildren, Krislyn Weird, Emjay Weird, Truly Jones and Karleigh Blackaby; Father, Dennis Evinger; siblings, Troy, Terry, Keith, Tony and Vickie; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington KY, 40047) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
