Ann Louise Welch

Ann Louise Welch, 66, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital with her friends by her side. She was born on Friday, July 1, 1955, the daughter of the late Earl and Patricia (Zook) Welch. Ann loved racing. She watched NASCAR every Sunday of her life. She had a long time friend who also raced, they called him “Big Wally” and she would go watch him race as often as she could. Ann also loved to shop at dollar stores. Ann is survived by many best friends that doubled as sisters, Terressa Marcum, Gidget McCord, and Penny Phillips; Kelly Fields, who was like a brother to her; Brent (wife, Becky) Hannah, Tiffanie (Gerry) Hannah, Steffanie (Laron) Hannah who were like her grandchildren; several kids that were like her great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly and babysat for often; and special friends Kylene and Elisia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Patricia (Zook) Welch; and a sister, Sherry Welch. Friends and family may come witness her burial on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at noon at Elm Ridge Memorial Park, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.
