Anna M. Mason

She was born Tuesday, May 29, 1934, the daughter of the late Clyde and Edna Smith. She married the love of her life, Lloyd Mason, and they shared sixty-one and a half years together. Anna loved to quilt by hand, she enjoyed gardening, Westerns, and was known by her family for making wonderful Southern cornbread.

Survivors include her sons, David (Danita) Mason and Phillip (Jenny) Mason; grandchildren, Ashley Glasco, James Stanley, Melissa Wright, and Eric Meade; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Mason; an infant son, Jimmy Mason; parents, Clyde and Edna Smith; sisters, Marcella King, Shirley Kieth, and Bonnie Lowe; and a grandchild, Curtis Anderson.

Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
