Ashley Nicole South

She was born Thursday, March 5, 1987, in Muncie, the daughter of Sharon Lynn (South) Stanley. Ashley graduated from Wes Del High School, and attended Ivy Tech and IUPUI. She was previously employed with Ball State University and she volunteered with the Knights of Columbus. Ashley was a participant in the Delaware County Fair Pageant. But what she enjoyed most in life was spending time with her son, Noah, her niece, Jerzee, and her family.

Survivors include her mom, Sharon (companion Anthony Brant) Stanley; son, Noah Lee South; brother, Fredie South; sister, Brook South; niece, Jerzee Nicole South; several uncles and aunts including Melinda K. Stanley and Karen (husband Brad) Lennis; great aunt, Shirley (husband Dennis) Divens; several cousins including Kasey Stanley; special friends, Jeff Doughty, Lacey (husband Brad) Starkey and Whitney Downs.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fred and Linda South and her paternal grandpa, Robert E. Stanley.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Willard Allred officiating. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery at Gaston.
