Barbara D. Turner

Barbara was first and foremost a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent her life caring for her family as a full-time homemaker, finding her greatest happiness in the simple moments spent together. Whether it was gathering around the table, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying time with those she loved, family was always at the center of her life.

Barbara was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, where her faith remained a guiding light throughout her life. She lived with kindness, humility, and a caring heart, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement.

She is survived by her son, Tim Turner and his wife, Misty; her daughters-in-law, Lisa Turner and Lori Turner; her grandchildren, Kaliq Turner, Garrett Turner, Keanna Turner, Carson Turner, Fawn Turner, Avaiana Haigh, Amber Clymer (Matt), Stephanie Fisher (Donovan), Jonathan Turner (Rebecca), and Rebekah Turner; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Micaiah, Adeleigh, Solomon, Isaiah, Emma, James, Juliet, and Anastasia.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Turner, and her sons, Rick Turner and Scott Turner.

Barbara's family will remember her for the love she gave so freely, the strength she showed through every season of life, and the example she set through her faith and devotion to those she loved. While her absence leaves an emptiness that can never be filled, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family forever.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, 309 E Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305, on Friday, July 31, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m.
