DELEENA MCCOY

April 2, 2019

To my female soul mate: You and I have shared so many things in this life. All the memories we made together and the ones you shared with me from your life before me, I will hold deep in my heart. we have laughed and made others life. remembering all the songs you sang to us from Lullabies to my favorite "Marvelous Grace", remembering the Man on the side of the road holding a rake, to Getting the ducks in a row, to the towel with a duck and a wreath around its neck, the emergency room visit were I looked in your ears with the Otoscope and you asked, "well what do you see? and I said absolutely nothing...we rolled with laughter. I will never forget your profound words about "Faith". You were an "Anchor" for our family. Everyone enjoyed your company. You overlook my faults and dumb quirks and loved me. As you were slipping away from us in the hospital you asked me, " You know I love you don't you?" The answer to your question then and now and forever is "ABSOLUTLY WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT!!! I felt more from you than I could ever fully put into words. So until I am with you my sweet Aunt Billie, sing with grandma Beckett all those gospel songs to Jesus. Hebrews 6:19. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul firm and secure. Your niece, Deleena Rae (Buffin) McCoy
