Brook Marie South

Brook Marie South, 33, of Muncie, gained her wings on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born in Muncie on August 4, 1988, the daughter of Robert and Sharon (South) Stanley, and she attended Wes-Del High School.

Brook is survived by her mother, Sharon; her two children, Jerzee and Baby D; brothers, Freddie South, John Stanley, Bill Johnson, and Mike Johnson; nephew, Noah Lee; aunt, Melinda K. (South) Stanley; close cousins, Jesika L. Stanley, Ashlie G. Velazquez, Marc Stanley, Geniver Becktell, and Evan Miller; special friend, Robbie Reagan; and several nieces and nephews.

Brook was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Stanley Sr.; maternal grandparents, Fred and Linda South; her sister, Ashley South; and very special cousin, Kasey L. South.

Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Elm Ridge Memorial Park, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.

Brook was a beautiful soul and was loved by many people who were close to her. She will be deeply missed.
