Carolyn Buck

She was an avid animal lover, and a woman who found joy in the quiet beauty of farm life and the animals she cared for so deeply. Bottle‑raising reindeer and wallabies was one of her greatest pleasures, and every creature she tended felt the warmth of her gentle heart. She also loved dogs and had them as her constant companions. She loved each one as family. Her faith was an important part of her life as well, and she attended Union Chapel Church.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Karen Harrold; grandchildren, Britney Milholland, Madison Bennett, Carson Buck, and McKenzie Jackson; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, A. Ray Buck; son, Scott Buck; and granddaughter, Shayna Swain.

A graveside service will take place at10:30 AM, Friday, May 8, 2026, in the North Chapel of Elm Ridge Memorial Park's Mausoleum, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN, 47304.
