Charles de la Garza

He was born November 8, 2001 in Muncie, the son of Grant and Jennifer (Davis) de la Garza. Charles was a freshman at Delta High School where he played baseball, basketball and football. He enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family and friends. Charles was a member of Scout Troop #27 DeSoto, Indiana.

Survivors include his mom, Jennifer Davis; dad, Grant de la Garza (companion Debra Stewart); brothers, Graham de la Garza (wife Justine), Zachary Yarger and Dominic Yarger; five aunts, Michelle Klett (husband Brian), Tamara Scott (husband Larry), Shelley Wilson (husband Korki), Wendy Stout (husband Kevin) and Anna Shepherd (husband Shane); three uncles, James Davis Jr. (wife Rebecca), Peter Davis (wife Andrea), and Nicholas Davis (wife Rachelle); paternal grandparents, Charles and Mona de la Garza; maternal grandparents, James Sr. and Leah Davis; many cousins and many friends including Kavan Conner, Clare Terry, Logan Newton, Namya Coleman and Kylei Cook.

Services will be held 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
