Cleatis E. Whitcomb, 99, Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Morgan County, Indiana on May 10, 1917 to Roy D and Ida Victoria (Switcher) Walton. Cleatis had been a member of First Baptist Church in Muncie, and also a member of Muncie Artists Guild.
Survivors include her daughter Jean Trester, granddaughter Jill Diane (husband Cory) Cline, great grandchildren, Alex, Drew, and Allison.
Cleatis was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald Edwin Whitcomb, sisters Goldie Wilson, and Gladys White.
