Dale Ray Husk

Dale was the 12th of 14 children born in Grantsburg, Indiana to G. Raymond Husk and Hazel Retta (Ashley) on July 8, 1942. He went to school at English High School. He married Patricia Darling-Husk on July 7, 2019 in Muncie, Indiana. He was a 20 year, retired veteran of the US Army. He served in the Vietnam War, and was stationed in Korea, Germany, Turkey, Norway, and several US bases. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for heroic service. He was a proud participant in the Indy Honor Flight.

Dale is preceded in death by his father and mother, as well as 3 brothers and 5 sisters.

Dale is survived by his siblings: Gordon Husk, Phyllis Ramsey, Janet Stark, Carol Nelson and Marcia Douglas; and sisters-in-law Vikki Husk and Velma Husk. He is survived by his children, Debra Bartlet, Diane Husk, and Nathan Husk. He is also survived by his wife, Patricia Darling-Husk. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Graveside services with Army Honors will be held at Marion National Cemetery, in Marion IN on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 1PM Sharp.
