Gladys Eileen McWhorter age 84 of Hamilton passed away Saturday July 12, 2014. She was born May 23, 1930 in Lily, Kentucky the daughter of the late Arthur and Ortie (Bailey) Davis. She married Earl J. McWhorter on May 17, 1984. Mrs. McWhorter worked at Champion International for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights Templar #41, and a member of the Washington Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband Earl J. McWhorter; one daughter Linda (Ted) Young; grandson Jeremy Fielder; great grandson; brother Albert (Elsie) Davis; four step children Tamea Vanicek, Ronald (Gretta) McWhorter of Trenton, Ohio, Nancy Wolpert, and Richard E. McWhorter; seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved pet Bunji. Mrs. McWhorter was also preceded in death by her son Gary Fielder, her sister Mary Rose Steward, and two brothers Carl and John Davis. www.websterfuneralhomes.com
