Donna D. Wyman

She was born Saturday, October 31, 1942, in Muncie, the daughter of Donald and Mary (Barton) Upton. Donna was the “chief baker” for her family and she enjoyed baking birthday cakes for everyone. Her favorite pastimes were painting, ceramics, working in her flower gardens, and feeding the hummingbirds. She was a member of the Cowan Christian Church. Donna was an instrument tech and worked at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital for twenty-five years before she retired.

Survivors include her children, Robert Jr. (wife, Laura) Wyman, Mark (wife, Jody) Wyman, and Misty Burke; brother, Don Upton; sister, Sandi Byerly; step-sisters, Kathy Hosen, Teresa Eastwood, and Judi Ellis; grandchildren, Tabitha (husband, Dave) Snyder, Porsche Mullin, Nikki (partner, Tony Patterson) Wyman, Robbie (wife, Hannah) Wyman, Kyle (wife, Courtney) Wyman, Shelby (husband, Garrett) Winget, August Fredrick, Hannah Burke, Bryanna Burke, Casey Burke, Kurt Huffman, and Kyle Huffman; great-grandchildren, Delaney Huffman, Jeramiah Snyder, Addison Mullin, Brooks Wyman, Anthony Patterson, Luke Wyman, Lundy Wyman, Isabelle Patterson, Leo Wyman, Eleanor Winget, Joshua Wyman, and Joseph Wyman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Upton; her stepmother, Leona; her husband of fifty-seven years, Robert Wyman Sr.; son-in-law, John Burke; sister, Joyce Flye; and a granddaughter, Brittany Wyman.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47302. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
