Earl was born in Muncie, IN to Robert and Earla (Porter) Hershberger on May 28, 1942. He went to school at Muncie Central High School. He married Sharon (Evans) on February 10, 1962 in Muncie, IN. He worked as a laborer for Delco Battery for 31 years. He was a veteran of Vietnam and served in the Army. He served as Vice President for the UAW.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Earla Hershberger, His brother Larry Hershberger.
Earl is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sharon Hershberger, his son David (Angie) Hershberger, grandchildren Nathan Hershberger, Mason Hershberger, and several nieces and nephews.
Earls family will be having private graveside services, officiated by Larry Waters.
