Alta J. Lander, age 83, passed away October 9, 2014, at Otterbein Retirement Community in Lebanon, Ohio. She was born to the late William and Ann Beck on March 14, 1931, in Hamilton, Ohio. Alta graduated from Notre Dame High School and later married the love of her life, Harry Lander. She worked at Bendix before becoming a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harry Lander; three children Steven (Lynn) Lander, Karen (Ronald) Sollberger, John Lander; grandchildren Matthew Lander, Jane, Ryan, and Scott Sollberger; sister Muriel Gardner.
