He was born on Tuesday, February 6, 1923, in Scott County, Kentucky, the son of William and Nancy Smith. Everett was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served during WWII. He worked as a Steel Worker for Brodricks from 1946 until he retired in 1985. Everett was a member of Full Gospel Temple and enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include his children, Gladda (husband, Roger) Davis, Shirley Richards, Jeffery Smith, and Bill (wife, Kathy) Smith; step daughter, Joy Dutrow; step-son, Bill (wife, Dee) Meadows; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Betty Smith; daughter, Opal Uptegraff; step-son, Rick Meadows; and step daughter, Vicky Weams.
There will be no services.
