He was born Monday, April 8, 1940, a lifelong resident of Delaware County, the son of Fred and Frances (Wyne) Frohmuth. Fred attended St. Lawrence Schools. He worked at Marhoefers Packing for twenty-one years, and more recently as a security guard at Prairie Creek Reservoir for eight years. He was a part of Cop Shop, REACT, and CB Club where his handle was ‘Casper’. Fred never met a stranger. He was a man who loved anything racing and Chuck Norris. He enjoyed “curiosity” shopping, Colts football, old western movies, the outdoors, and tinkering in his workshop. More than anything Fred loved his family, which included his fur babies Thomas and Mitzie.
The family would like to extend appreciation to Ashliegh, Jamie, and Angel from IU Hospice for their outstanding care.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Victoria Frohmuth; a son, Russell Frohmuth of Nashville, Tennessee; two daughters, Cindy Frohmuth of Nashville, Tennessee and Diana White of Lebanon, Tennessee; two step sons, Richard and Stephen Ware; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Frances Frohmuth; his son in infancy, Fred Jr; son, Brett Allen Frohmuth; and brother, Merle Frohmuth.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Denny Helton will be officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
