He was born on Saturday, August 2, 1947, in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the son of William Alvis and Doris (McClain) Randall. Gary was a self-employed Master Electrician. He was also a Master Mason, Broadcast Engineer, Author, Musician, and an Extra Class Ham Radio Operator, whose call sign was AF4LG.
Survivors include his loving wife, Diana (McClure) Randall, Muncie, Indiana; three children, Gary Randall Jr., Stacey Fletcher, and Michael Randall; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his mother, Doris Beck; six sisters, Cheryl, Karen, Sharon, Carol, Becky, and Kathy; several nieces nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, William Randall Jr., and one son, Lewis Randall.
Cremation has been chosen by the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
