He was born Sunday, February 25, 1940, in Muncie, the son of Clifford and Norma (Walters) Stellwag. Gordon was a giving man and a loving father. He never let go of the testimony of the change that the Lord did in his life at age thirty-seven. Gordon loved Bible study and sharing his faith. He was involved in prison ministry despite having never been to jail and was always quick to forgive any wrongs done against him. He was a proud 1958 graduate of Muncie Central High School. Gordon served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until 1962 as an infantryman. He was retired from Warner Gear. Gordon was a friend to all, and an avid supporter of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago White Sox. Gordon was a great fisherman and loved to get away any time the opportunity came his way.
