Gregory A White

Greg was born on July 30, 1947 in Muncie, Indiana to Gerald and Genevieve (Barrett) White. He was married to his lifelong love and best friend, Patricia (Stump) on August 25, 1962, and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1965. He was a proud Muncie Police Department officer from 1968 to 1988, at which time he and Pat lived their dream and moved to Florida. Greg went on to have the thrilling job of working as a Security Police Officer at the Kennedy Space Center, where he enjoyed up close views of the many shuttle launches from 1989 to permanent retirement in 2006. Not one to sit still for long though, he served as President of the Fountain Cove Condominium Association for several years until he and Pat decided to return to single family home life and then, ultimately, back up to their forever home of Muncie in 2015.

Greg is survived by his three children who adored him, daughter Carole (JJ) Justice, son Matt (Nancy) White, daughter Michele (Bill) Bauman, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death on February 23, 2024 by his beloved wife, and previously by his parents, daughter Elizabeth Anne, and grandson Timothy Justice.

A graveside service will be held at Elm Ridge Memorial Park on Friday, August 1st at 10:00am.
