He was born August 23, 1968 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jack O. and Barbara J. (Wright) DeBoard.
Jack had worked in construction for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Marsh (Cole) DeBoard whom he married February 5, 1999; father; sons, David (Andrea) Cole and Brian Smith (partner Brad Bunner); daughters, Brenda Cole and Amanda Goff (boyfriend Jeff Veasley); grandchildren, Blaze Goff, Gage Goff, Trinity Goff, Drexel Cole, and one on the way; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Jack was preceded in death by his mother; step-mother, Pauline Spurlock, and his grandparents.
A graveside service will be held at Beech Grove Cemetery, 1400 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47305 at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016.
Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at 5900 West C.R. 350 North, Lot #111 until 3:00 p.m.
