Janice Kay Conn, 80, of Muncie, passed away at Bethel Pointe Health and Rehab on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
She was born in Muncie on Tuesday, January 21, 1941, the daughter of Glenn and Eunice (Sparks) Miller. She married Marvin Edward Conn on December 16, 1960, and he passed away October 30, 2019.
Janice graduated from Muncie Central High School and attended Ball State University. She was a bookkeeper throughout her life, most recently at REMC of Rushville. Janice enjoyed going shopping, doing crosswords, and crafts. She was a violinist with the Ball State Symphony, and played violin at nursing homes. She loved to cook and her favorite thing was being with her family at any holiday or event.
Janice is survived by her sons, Todd (wife, Susan) Conn, Erin (wife, Laurie) Conn, and Michael (wife, Linda) Conn; sister, Marilyn York; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a best friend, Donna Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Marvin; and parents, Glenn and Eunice Miller.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
Services will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 11:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Reverend Toby Smith will officiate.
