Jeff was born in Muncie, Indiana on Tuesday, March 19, 1968, the son of Gary and Sharon (Brown) Kramer.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Sharon Kramer; his sister, Kristin Kramer Engelmann (Brent), Yorktown, Indiana; nephews, Joshua Carroll, Louisville, Kentucky, and Jared Engelmann, Yorktown, Indiana; great niece, Alexis "Lexi" Engelmann, Yorktown, Indiana; special friend, Shari Downey; Murrell's Inlet, South Carolina, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Autumn Engelmann and grandparents, Glen and Martha Sue (Wood) Kramer and William and Bertha (Goforth) Brown.
Jeff was a musician throughout his adult life. He organized several blues/classic rock bands where he performed as lead guitarist and vocalist. He was especially proud of his first band, CABBAGE that played several years at various venues in the Muncie/Indianapolis area including "The Slippery Noodle" in Indianapolis and "The Vogue" in Broad Ripple. This was followed by other bands, most notably, "MOTHER HIPPO". He performed in South Carolina, Indiana and Florida and was opening act for Yngwie Malmsteen in Fort Lauderdale.
Jeff always loved cats, especially his constant companion for the past nine years, "Mr. Big"
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Larry Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
