Jimmy Richard Reum Jr.

Jimmy Richard Reum, Jr. passed away on November 29th after being in the hospital for two days. He was the first child of Delores Roback and Jim Reum. He was born on March 26th, 1964 and lived to be 61 years old.

Jimmy Reum made a hobby out of everything dangerous. From jumping on a ladder from one point to another to drifting in his truck and swearing it was safe to give someone a good memory. He worked for his community his entire life, ranging from working as a volunteer firefighter, working at Pepsi, and working stagehand at Ball State. Jimmy helped everyone he could, in and outside of work.

He loved everything Snoopy, silly, and his Pepsi's. But most important of all, he loved his family more than anything else in the world. For thirty years, Jimmy lived past every expectation. From surgeries to cancer, he continued to fight to meet his family members. He was an extraordinary man, from both a family and scientific lens.

Jimmy is survived through his wife, Clarissa of 41 years and his two sons, Jeffrey and his wife, Erica, and their children; Jeffrey (LJ) Scott Reum, Olivia Jaimarie Reum, Jaylee Jubilee Reum, Bentley Isaiah Jaxson Reum, Penelope Joy Reum, Zoey Elizabeth Jasmine Reum, Josephine Justice Reum, Maverick Jedi Judah Reum, Julianna Journey Reum and Willow Juniper Reum, and his son Jeremy Reum and his wife, Amber, and their two children; Zachary Joseph Reum and Elyssa Nichole Grace Reum. He is remembered by his mother, Delores Roback and his sister, Tammy Snyder and her husband Mark Snyder, their children Crystal, Melissa, and Marky, and Jimmy's nieces and nephews; Patrick Jr., Kristina, Landon, Avery, and many others.

He is preceded in passing by his father, Jim Richard Reum Sr., and his brothers Patrick Neil Reum and David Lee Reum, along with many of his friends and family.

Jimmy's funeral service will be held at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana on December 5th, 2025. Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The service will commence at 1:00 PM at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
