Johnna M Terrell

She was a devoted home cook who prepared meals with love for her family. Her dishes brought comfort, familiarity, and togetherness to the table.

Her creativity shone through her needlepoint, cross stitch, and crochet—arts she practiced with both skill and joy. Family members and friends will continue to treasure the framed pieces and handmade gifts she crafted with care, each one a testament to her talent and generosity.

She found peace in the natural world, especially in the delicate flutter of hummingbirds and the bright flash of cardinals outside her window. She loved watching flowers bloom and took special delight in the beauty of dogwood trees, whose blossoms brought her quiet joy year after year.

Her Bible was never far from reach. She read it faithfully, drawing strength, comfort, and guidance from its pages. Her faith shaped her life and the kindness she extended to others.

Johnna is survived by her husband, Larry Terrell; children, Amy Heirbrandt and Joe Terrell; grandchildren, Lauren Brizendine, Matthew Terrell, Chase Heirbrandt, Joel Heirbrandt, Timothy Heirbrandt and Gabi Heirbrandt; 3 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Irene, Billie, Sandy, Jean and Jane.

She is preceded in passing by her parents; son, Timothy Terrell; and daughter, Sherri Terrell.

Family and friends may gather Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304. A funeral service to honor her life will begin at 1:00 PM.
