Obituary:

James E. Lotz age 75 of Fairfield passed away Saturday May 23, 2015 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born August 5, 1939 in Butler County, Ohio the son of the late Albert and Martha (Montgomery) Lotz. On August 5, 1961 he married Charlotte Ball. Mr. Lotz worked for 40 years as a pipefitter for the Pipefitters Local Union 392, retiring in 2000. After his retirement he enjoyed 10 years as locker room supervisor at the Mercy Heathplex, and made many friendships there. He loved spending time with his family and was known for his tremendous sense of humor. Mr. Lotz is survived by his wife Charlotte Lotz; one son Steven Charles (Renee) Lotz; two grandchildren Ryan and Kayla; his sister in law Gloria (Paul) Stubblefield, and three nieces Dawn Clark, Sherri (Charlie) Thacker, and Debbie Adams. He was also preceded in death by his brother Don Lotz.
