Karen E Watson

She was born Wednesday, January 29, 1958, in Muncie, the daughter of Troy and Rose Mary (Meek) Griffee. Karen had worked as a manager at Pizza King. She graduated from Cowan High School in 1976.

Survivors include her children, Gwen (husband, Darin) Townsend, Shaun (wife, Kirsten) Keesling, Tosha Watson, David L. Watson Jr., and Maria Watson; grandchildren, Dylan (wife, Lillyanna) Brannon, Lilian Brannon, Triston Small, Takoda Lundy, Teagan Lundy, Ian Watson, Kynden Wiedner, Kyndall Watson, and Kavion Watson; and multiple great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Rose Mary (Meek) Griffee; her husband, David L. Watson; and a special aunt and uncle, Philip and Sarah Sprowl.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at her daughter, Gwen’s home.

She will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery at Eaton.

Her arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
