Alan Hohnhorst, 68, of Ross, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Susanna Hohnhorst and granddaughter, Nora Grace Carr. Alan is survived by his wife of 44 years, Maureen; children, Melissa (Brian) Carr, Robert Hohnhorst and Melanie Hohnhorst; grandchildren, Emerson and Willem Carr and sisters, Janet Reiff and Susanna Schmidt. He is a graduate of Purcell High School and Xavier University and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Upon retirement from Fernald at age 60, Alan went back to school to receive HVAC certification and worked for McGee Heating and Cooling.
