Larry is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of thirty-seven years, Melissa "Missy" Turney; his daughter, Lauren (Zach) Gidcumb of Muncie, Indiana; his son, Evan (Carolyn) Turney of Mooresville, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Noelle "Ellie" and Kadence "Kade" Gidcumb; his father, Lawrence Turney Sr.; his brother, Kevin Turney; his brother-in-law, Steven (Angie) Reese; his sister-in-law, Jennifer Reese; his nephews, Aaron Turney and Zach (Amy) Roberts; his nieces, Kinsey Reese, Hayle Turney, Andrea (Lucas) Hart and Kendall Reese; as well as several uncles, aunts and cousins. Larry loved the Lord, his family and all things Disney. Larry especially enjoyed traveling with his family, specifically to Disney World and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, which became annual trips. Larry loved being the very best "PawPaw" to his grandchildren and was very gifted at slipping them cookies and candy whenever they "needed" them. Larry was a member of Northside Assembly of God and held credentials as a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. Larry loved his family well and always worked to point them to Jesus, despite any mistakes, hardships or difficult times they would experience. Larry lived his life valuing the grace of God, His endless mercy and His unconditional love for all.
