For more than 40 years, Claude was a dedicated employee of Rock Tenn, where he built not only a career but also lasting friendships through his strong work ethic, dependability, and kindness. He took great pride in providing for his family and serving others with humility.
His faith was the cornerstone of his life. For 25 years, he faithfully served as an usher at Parkview Apostolic Church, greeting countless people with a warm smile and a servant's heart. He was also a cherished member of River of Life Church, where he found strength, fellowship, and joy among his church family. His quiet example of faith, compassion, and dedication touched the lives of many.
Outside of work and church, Claude found peace in God's creation. He loved spending time fishing, tending to his garden, and caring for his animals. Whether working outdoors or enjoying the simple beauty of nature, he found happiness in life's everyday blessings.
Above all else, Claude treasured his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with those he loved. He was a constant source of love, wisdom, encouragement, and laughter, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. His church family was equally dear to his heart, and he considered them an extension of his own.
Though his presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of faith, hard work, kindness, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Claude was preceded in passing by his children, Ledford Gene Harding, Mary Elizabeth Wardrip and Eddie Goodman; and daughters-in-law, Tammy Harding and Tina Goodman.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Beattress Harding; children, Patricia Fuller, Margaret (Roy) Rogers, Ralph Harding, Julie Willoughby, David (Melissa) Duncan and Sue (Ralph Hritz) Albano; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
