Sara Gabbard, age 70 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Monday, May 5, 2014. She was born in Connersville, IN on July 3, 1943 to Ralph and Helen (Weavie) McDaniel. She married Denver Gabbard on April 10, 1979, in Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband, Denver Gabbard; children, Kim (Frank) Unrein, Penny Crouch and James Gabbard; grandchildren, Rebecca (Rickie) Taylor, Mary (Andy) Patterson, Nolan McGhehey, Jeremiah McGhehey, Dustin Stouffer, Kirby Stouffer, Holly Stouffer, Braxton Crouch, Nathan Crouch; great grandchildren, Rickie, Zachary, Daniel and Ethan Taylor and Sebastian Stouffer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Monte McDaniel; sister in law, Mary McDaniel; great granddaughter, Victoria Stouffer; and her parents. Sara's grandchildren were her life.
