Marilyn Jean Berry

Muncie- Marilyn Jean Berry, age 90 went to be with her lord, Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born November 4, 1926 in Muncie to Howard and Inez (Overcash) Wolfe. She enjoyed church services, making art and taking care of her family. Marilyn received her Masters Degree from Ball State University and spent many years as a teacher in the Delaware County area. She was a master weaver and renown fabric artist, receiving many awards for her unique sense of style, textures and color. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Milton Berry and 2 sons. Those left to cherish her memory include daughter-in-law Sherry Berry, and sister-in-law Sonja Wolfe, grandchildren Teala Porter, Kristin Berry, Clairissa Berry, Mark Berry Jr. and Todd Berry, her niece Tammy Wolfe, nephew John Wolfe, and several great grandchildren. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Marilyn will be Friday, December 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore, Muncie. Visitation will be Friday at 1:00 pm till the 2 pm service. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Memorial contributions May be made to A.R.F (homeless animal shelter)1209 W.
