Mary Kathryn Koger

Mary “Kathryn” Koger, 84, passed away peacefully at her home on July 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Kathryn was born on December 17, 1941 to Thurston and Alma Sutton. She devoted her life to creating a warm and welcoming home for those she loved. A gifted homemaker, Kathryn found great joy in decorating her home and making every season special, especially Christmas, which was her favorite time of year. She cherished family gatherings and treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Kathryn was also an avid sports fan who rarely missed a chance to cheer on the Indiana Pacers and enjoyed keeping up with many other sports throughout the year.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Roger Koger; her daughter, Teresa McKibben, and son-in-law, Tim Campbell; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Joe) Brewer , Tyra (Tanner) Benzinger , Lauren (Brady) Edwards, and Erin (Kyle) Wilson ; 11 beloved great-grandchildren; her sister, Brenda Singleton; her brothers, Larry (Robin) Sutton and Bobby (Gail) Sutton; along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tina Campbell; her son-in-law, Doug McKibben; her brother-in-law, Ronnie Singleton; and her brother, Bill Sutton.

Kathryn's kindness, love for her family, and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. Her home was always a place of comfort, love, and lasting memories, and her legacy will continue through the family she cherished so deeply.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m.
