Nancy Ellyn Ellingson

She was born Monday, November 28, 1955, in Muncie, the daughter of Douglas and Patricia (Montross) Sloan. Nancy graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1974 and received her Associates Degree in Drafting and Design Technology from Willmar Area Vocational Technical Institute in Minnesota on May 30, 1980. She was a proud U.S. Marine veteran. Nancy met Lonnie Ellingson on Parris Island and they were married on May 30, 1975. Nancy was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, enjoyed crafts and macramé.

Survivors include her daughter, Kristen Ellingson; son, Dane (wife, Amy) Ellingson; grandchildren, Mackenzie Olson, and Ava Ellingson; brothers, Tim Sloan, and Gary (wife, Charlene) Sloan; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Douglas and Patricia Sloan, preceded her in death.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial with Military Rites will be later in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
