Nancy Ellen Griffin

A graduate of Muncie Central High School, she cherished the time she spent with her family, who were the most important part of her life. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed bringing loved ones together over a good meal. In her free time, she liked mowing her lawn, cross-stitching, and playing games on her tablet. She found joy in the simple things in life and leaves behind many special memories that will be treasured by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Nancy is survived by her children, Brian (Mary) Griffin, James (Elizabeth) Schultz Jr., and Vicki (Alan) Dugger; grandchildren, Clayton (Vanessa Wolfe) Schultz, Ruth Schultz, Jessica (Toni) Celebucki, Rachel Griffin, Mackenzie (Jonathan) Richards, Matthew (Breana Stevens) Griffin; and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; sister, Geraldine Wine; brothers, James “Jimmy” Shockley, Charles “Bob” Shockley and Donny Shockley; and granddaughter, Jessica Green.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
