She was born Tuesday, January 26, 1926, in Muncie, the daughter of Raymond and Charlene Mapes. Norma worked for several offices in the area as a bookkeeper.
Survivors include her niece, Judi Putt; nephew, James (wife, Gloria) Yuncker; great-nephew, Kevin (wife, Kathy) Grim; great great niece, Caitlyn Grim; great great nephew, Jacob Grim; and a friend, Jeff Fuller.
Her parents, Raymond and Charlene Mapes; sisters, Maxine Yuncker, and Betty Mapes; niece, Jean Wolfla; sisters-in-law, Katy Yuncker, and Marcey Yuncker; brothers-in-law, Paul Yuncker, and Doc Yuncker; and a nephew-in-law, Bill Putt, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
