Patricia K Carpenter

Patricia K. Carpenter, 66, Muncie, passed away Wednesday morning, July 7, 2021, at her home. She was born Thursday, November 18, 1954, the daughter of Donald L. and Ova Helen (Green) Lowrey. Patricia loved everyone and everyone loved her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She liked working in her flower garden and was a nature lover. Patricia enjoyed feeding the birds and watching her hummingbirds. One of her “favorite times” was her Wednesday lunches with her friends. Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Jeff Carpenter; daughter, Christi (husband, James) Mugrage; grandchildren, Sydnie (boyfriend, Tre Wills) Mugrage, and Keaton (wife, Sarah) Mugrage; great-grandchildren, Lucas Mugrage, and Blake Wills; brother, Donald (wife, Barbara) Lowrey; mother-in-law, Alice E. Carpenter; brother-in-law, Brett A. Carpenter; and her special friend, Jenny Dick. Her parents, Donald L. and Ova Helen Lowrey; and her brother, Scott Lowrey preceded her in death. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
