Peggy J. Huber

She was born on Monday, October 5, 1936, the daughter of Ora Robbins and Marcella (Smoot) Robbins. Peggy graduated from Daleville High School. She married Charles Huber, and he passed away in 2013.

Peggy worked for General Motors for many years until retirement. She loved to read, go camping, and crocheting. She was a hard worker, and after retirement, she enjoyed traveling, shopping, and visiting family and friends. She was a mother to many that weren’t hers. But most of all, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life.

Peggy is survived by a son, Chris Huber (wife, Deanne); four daughters, Vicki Brown (husband, Michael), Penni Reese, Terri Wright (husband, Wayne), and Lorri Davis (husband, Doug); brothers, Ed Robbins, and Doug Robbins; sister, Nancy Barkdull; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and two on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Marcella.

Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks are required as well as social distancing.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Speaker will be Nate McCashland.

Burial will be in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
