Reba A. Smith

Reba graduated from Harrison Township High School. Following high school, she was employed at Indiana and Michigan Electric Company. It was during this time, she met her husband, Laurel E. Smith. Before retiring in 1984, she was a book keeper at Muncie Automotive Supply. She and her husband were former members of the Delaware Country Club and The Players Club, where they were avid golfers. Reba was a proud member of Mount Olive United Methodist Church, and Alpha Tau Federated Club. Reba served as district and county President of the Indiana Federation of Clubs. She attended College Avenue United Methodist Church.

Reba and Laurel Smith were married fifty years, until Laurel's passing on May 2nd, 2005. Survivors include one son, James H. Smith (wife Leah) of Dallas, Georgia; two grandchildren, James L. (wife Kim) Smith of Arlington, Texas, and Lauren (husband, Michael) Smith-Calcote, of Saginaw, Texas; three beautiful great- grandchildren, Savannah Calcote, Ayden Smith, and Zane Smith; niece, Nancy (husband, Dr. James) Torrence; and two great-nieces, Christie and Katie Torrence, of Terre Haute.

Calling hours will be Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
