

She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on March 6, 1984, the daughter of David and Doris (McCoy) Westerman. She married Seth Shockley and he survives.
Rebekah graduated from Muncie Southside High School. She worked as a Home Health Aide for Individual Support in Middletown. She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved taking care of her family. Rebekah was a cheer mom and a football mom, and her kids were her pride and joy. She was known as “The Queen”, also wife, mom, and boss. She loved country music, but especially Jason Aldean. Her motto was “Live, Laugh, Love” and had it displayed all over her house.
Rebekah loved the color pink, fall was her favorite season and Christmas was her favorite holiday. She was a member of several Amazon groups such as Blessings to Blessings (Amazon Blessings), Empowering Women, Women Blessing Other Women, Send a Sunflower, Twisted Sisters, Blessing Other Women All Over, and Sisterhood of the Traveling Blessings. She enjoyed giving and getting gifts through these groups.
Rebekah is survived by her loving husband, Seth; her parents, David and Doris Westerman; her children, Jayden, Kameryn, Kaidyn, and JaKaylah Shockley; brother, Ronnie Hayes; mother-in-law, Diana Shockley; grandfather-in-law, Marion Shockley; nieces, Veronika Hayes and Amari Jones; nephews, Isaiah and Avery Jones; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a galore of friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leroy and Lois McCoy; and uncle, Ernie McCoy.
Friends and family may call on Monday, October 4, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks are required as well as social distancing.
Services will be on Monday, October 4, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Doris Westerman will officiate.
