He was born February 25, 1943 in Muncie, IN to Wilbur U. and Helen (Burden) Collins. Bobby Terry graduated from Muncie Central High School. He was a truck driver for several years for Central Beverage. He was an avid shuffle board player and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Robert Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jeannine Collins, brothers Harold and Clifford Kelley, son Donnie McQuire. He is survived by his sons Robbie T. Collins, Mike (wife Stacey) Dickerson; daughters Kathy Oliver and Kelly McQuire; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Karen (husband Dewey) Thomas, Carolyn (husband Paul) Morrison; daughter-in-law, Christy McQuire and fiancé Rita Harris.
Memorial services to celebrate the life of Bobby Terry will be Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304 at 3:00 p.m.
Family and friends may call at Elm Ridge Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at Garden View Memory Gardens at a later date.
