Robert Dale Wright

Robert was born January 22, 1937, to the late William and Martha (Miller) Wright. He was a 1955 graduate of Center High School in Selma, Indiana. He was a long haul independent truck driver for fifty-one years, retiring at age 80. He was well known for saying, “Oh, really?”. He was treasured and we all loved spending time with him. He will be missed!

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Brown) Wright; daughters, Euvena Joy Morrow, Roberta L. Havens, Nancy Brauberger and his son Christopher (Amber) Wright; grandchildren, Brandy (Joe) LoPilato, Jena (Shannon) Ashby, Cortney (Andy) Cook, Rory (Laura) Hughes, Elizabeth (Donald) Batt, Tim (Ashley) Hughes, and Nickolas (Sarah) Brauberger; sister Kathy May; brother, Larry (Sharon) Wright; thirteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth E. Wright.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.
