Ronald J. "Noodles" Heritage

He was born March 12, 1957 in Muncie, the son of Arthur V. and Martha O. (Bowman) Heritage. Ron and his brother, Mikel, co-owned The Heritage Company for many years. Ron was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed his Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Detroit Red Wings, was a member of the Crestview Golf Course and loved bowling. Ron enjoyed visiting the family farm and loved the family time, the bon fires and just being outdoors there. You could find Ron any Sunday afternoon enjoying sports with friends at Madison Square Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Myschael (Taylor) Heritage; children, Joe Heritage, Jason Heritage, and Alisha Branding; step-children, Meredith (Ross) Carpenter, and Mitchell (Margaret) Stamper; brother, Mikel (Cynthia) Heritage; grandson, Jackson Heritage; step-grandchildren, Major Stamper; Corbin Carpenter and Piper Carpenter; nieces, Melissa Chumley, Rachel Shideler and Emma Heritage; brother-in-law, Bill Connelly; mother-in-law, Jill Bales; father-in-law, Chet (Gloria) Taylor; sister-in-law, Kimberly (Michael) Sinclair; step-nephews, Paul Sinclair and Jack Sinclair; a special friend, Brent Reed and his canine companions, Lizzy, Kenechie, Ginger and Sadie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Martha Heritage; and a half-sister, Nancy Connelly.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday and from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Sunday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
