Roy retired from The Muncie Street Department after 25 years of hard work and dedication. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns, and NASCAR. Roy was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Roy is survived by his beautiful, loving wife Nikki; daughter, Lysa (Gary) Gates; son, Kenneth (Joy) Barnes; sister, Rachael Gutierrez; grandchildren, Matthew Munson, Joshaua Barnes and Casey Barnes; great-grandchildren, Allen Munson, Marshall Barnes and Lilly Barnes; three nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his parents; sister, Patty Morton; brothers, Ronald and Robert Barnes; and one niece.
The family wants to express our sincere gratitude to the nursing staff in the ACU2 unit at Brickyard Healthcare and Heart to Heart Hospice for the care and attention they gave to Dad.
