Russell E. Greer Sr.

He was born on October 30, 1944, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Russell O. and Pauline (Conway) Greer. Russell was a member of IBEW #71, was a plumber and electrician, and worked for the family business, Greer Plumbing. He enjoyed gardening, watching birds and squirrels, and listing to country music.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-five years, Donna A. (Rodenberger) Greer, Parker City, Indiana; one son, William (wife, Charlene) Greer, Parker City, Indiana; six grandchildren, Ian, Tiffany, Amanda, James, Lauren, and Molly Greer; one brother, Edmond (wife, Jewel) Greer; two sisters, Jan Isbell, and Penny Sexton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Russel E. Greer Jr.; daughter-in-law, Joy Greer; sister, Linda Greer; and brother, Ricky Greer.

Family and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304.

Services will be held 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, in Elm Ridge Funeral Home with Danny Lewis and Russel James Greer officiating.
