Survivors include her husband, George Buck; 3 children, Jeffrey, Julie and Jennifer; 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Joseph, Lindsey, Andrew, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Courtney and Deyton; and 4 great-grandchildren, Haydein, Kian, Mackenzie and one on the way.
Her passions overflowed in her love for her family and friends, her pets, and her administrative work in athletics.
She loved camping, even when it was in the backyard with her grandkids, she loved sports (particularly Pacers and Ball State), and working with student athletes at Ball State.
She loved to travel and frequently visited the Smokey Mountains and the beaches of Florida. She loved the holidays as well, especially when the whole family was together. She enjoyed cooking during the holidays and will best be remembered for her Christmas cookies and party mix!
Suzy always had a desire to travel to Africa to see and love on the children there. She will be missed dearly!
There will be a small service at 6:00 PM, on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Eastside Church of God, 2600 E. 5th Street, Anderson, Indiana, 46012.
