Terry W. Moffitt

He was born on April 5, 1947, in Richmond, Indiana, the son of Lloyd and Martha Moffitt. Terry worked for Delco Remy in Plant Management and Quality. He was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church and loved woodworking, cooking, fishing, boating, traveling, playing with his grandchildren, fast cars, and teaching young people the art of woodworking.

Survivors include his loving wife, Julie Moffitt, Muncie, Indiana; his children, Barry (wife, Julia) Moffitt, Carmel, Indiana, Jennifer (husband, Matt) Harre, Marion, Illinois, Matt Allen, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Stefanie (husband, Rick) Steigerwalt, Muncie, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Logan Allen, Colton Allen, Maia Steigerwalt, Rylann Moffitt, Brock Steigerwalt, Camryn Harre, Cole Moffitt, and Jack Harre; one brother, Mike (wife, Karen) Moffit; one nephew, Chris Moffitt, and one niece, Elizabeth Moffitt Marsillo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his mother-in-law, Kibby Johnson.

Services to honor Terry’s life will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Josh Arthur officiating in Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home on Saturday, February, 2, 2019.
