Tina Wise

Tina was a proud graduate of Southside High School. She went on to pursue her passion for beauty by becoming a licensed cosmetologist and later an instructor at Ambers Beauty School before continuing her career as a manager at BoRic’s Haircare. It was at Amber’s Beauty School that she met the love of her life, James Wise Sr. They were united in marriage on January 3, 1987. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unwavering love.

A devoted member of Freewill Baptist Church, Tina found strength in her faith and was known for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and willingness to help others. Whether she was teaching future cosmetologists, spending time with family, or offering encouragement to those around her, she touched countless lives with her warmth and compassion.

Tina is lovingly survived by her children, John Wise, Krista Wise, and Jimmy Wise Jr.; her cherished grandchildren, Opal Thornburg, AJ Wise, Westyn Wise, Ava Wise, Tristan White, Kailey (Colten) Yarger, and Ethan Wise; her beloved mother, Loretta Rigsby; her brother, Terry Rigsby; and her nieces and nephews, Juliana Long, Quentin Long, Daymon Rigsby, and Kira Futral. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Wise Sr.; her son, Kyle White; her father, Paul Rigsby; and her sister, Tammy Long.

Though Tina's presence will be deeply missed, her love, strength, and the countless memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, devotion, and unconditional love, and her legacy will remain with her family for generations to come.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Monday, August 3, 2026, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304. A funeral service to honor her life will begin at 1:00 PM.
