Jenny was born in Strunk, KY to Virgil & Dorothy Strunk on May 24, 1940. She married George Early on April 6, 1957, in Monticello, KY. Jenny's career was childcare and homemaking. She cared for many children throughout the Gaston/Muncie area and still maintained a relationship with some of those children to this day. Jenny also cared for her grandchildren. Her hobbies through the years included; camping, sewing, reading and spending time with family.
Jenny was preceded in death by her two sons, Dwight and Manford Early, both of Muncie; her parents, Virgil & Dorothy Strunk, Kentucky; her siblings, Troy Strunk, Rosemary Stephens and Geneva Duncan, all of Kentucky.
Jenny is survived by her husband of 69 years, George Early; daughter, Tamra Edwards (husband Scott); sisters-in-law, Freda Strunk, Anna Parnell (husband Terry), Thelma Collins (husband Frank); grandchildren, George Early (wife Angie), Colby Early (wife Amy), Sabrina Castle (husband, Carl), Chevy and Spencer Edwards, Jodi Carroll (husband Mike), & Jerry Munday; great-Grandchildren, Milah Early, Collin Early, Ryder Edwards, Kennedy Castle, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 11:00 am- 1:00 pm on Monday, October 5th at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN, 47304.
Funeral services will be held At 1:00 pm following visitation, at Elm Ridge, with the Pastor Tim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Jenny will be missed by many for her quiet strength and steadfast faith.
